If a Buyer organization would like to validate Site Users’ purchases with purchase orders, the Purchase Order module is where Buyer Admins can enable and configure purchase order as a payment method for the Marketplace. In this scenario, the actual transaction between the Supplier and the Buyer happens outside of Agora.

Set the toggle on the Purchase Order page to Accept to enable purchase order as a payment method. Additional page content will appear. Use the Purchase Order Display Name field to change the name of the payment method that will appear on the front-end Marketplace from Purchase Order to something else.
Toggle Password Protected to Yes if you’d like to prevent Site Users from using this payment method unless they know the password. Enter the password in the field.
Use the Require Billing Address toggle to indicate whether Site Users should be required to enter their billing address before checking out.
Use the Payment Tax dropdown to indicate whether or not tax should be suppressed for orders paid for with purchase order. In most cases, this should be left as Do Not Suppress Tax.
When you’ve finished making your changes, click the Save button at the top or bottom right-hand side of the page. Purchase order will also need to be enabled as a payment method in Quoting Settings before Site Users can use purchase order at checkout for Quote orders.
