There are three Access Level Presets:
- By default, the Platform Super Admin preset gives the Admin access to all Platform controls and modules (including Manage Admins and Invite or Create a New Admin) and all Site controls and modules in all Sites in the Platform.
- By default, the Platform Basic Admin preset gives the Admin access to all Platform controls and modules (except for Manage Admins and Invite or Create a New Admin) and all Site controls and modules in all Sites in the Platform.
- By default, Site Admins have access to all Site controls and modules in one or more Sites, but no access to Platform controls.
Depending on the preset selected, the content of the expandable Customize sections will change.
Customize Platform controls visible to this Admin
The Customize Platform controls visible to this Admin section will only be visible when the Platform Super Admin and Platform Basic Admin presets are selected. When expanded by clicking the arrow on the left-hand side of the section, a list of Platform navigation categories will appear. Each navigation category can be expanded by clicking the arrow next to the category name to reveal the modules in each category. These categories and modules correspond to the categories and modules in the Admin Console Platform-level sidebar. Use the checkboxes to provide or deny access rights to Platform-level categories or modules for the new Admin.
When the Platform Super Admin preset is selected, the Admins category with the Manage Admins and Invite or Create a New Admin modules will appear in the list and will be selected by default. When the Platform Basic Admin preset is selected, this category and its modules will not appear in the list.

The checkboxes next to each Site indicate whether the new Admin will have administrative access to that Site. Enter a Site name or ID in the search bar at the top of the page to find a specific Site. Click the checkbox next to Select in the header row to select or deselect all Sites. Sort the Sites in the table by clicking the arrow next to the column headers. Click the Save button to ensure that the selected Sites are populated into the dropdown in the Customize Site controls visible to this Admin section.
Admins with the Platform Super Admin and Platform Basic Admin presets will, by default, have access to all Sites in the Platform. Admins with the Site Admin preset will, by default, have access only to the first Site in the list, but can be manually given access to a different Site or to any number of Sites in the Platform.

When you’ve finished adding details and customizing access rights for the new Admin, it’s time to save the new user. There are two options at the top and bottom right-hand side of the page:
- Save and Set Password. Click this button to create a password for the new Admin. Enter a password in the field in the popup. Click the eye icon to show or hide the entered password. Once the password is strong and meets the listed criteria, click the Set Password button. The new Admin’s password will be set and their account will be created. Once the new Admin has logged in with the password you created, they can go to the My Profile page to change their password.
- Save and Send Invitation. Click this button to send an invitation email to the Admin’s email address (entered above) with a link to set their password themselves. The Admin account will be created, but the new Admin will not be able to log in until they have set a password for their account.
