How It Works for Buyers

Welcome to AgoraCX! Need to order some custom gear for your team, department, or group?  This is the place!

AgoraCX features all of your organization’s approved suppliers in one central place.  You can submit quote requests to multiple suppliers with a single click, compare offers side-by-side, select the best supplier for the job, and rest easy knowing you’re following all the branding and merchandise rules in your organization.

Let’s get started.

Step 1: Start Your Project and Submit a Quote Request

To start your project, click “Start a Project” in the header navigation bar.  You will then fill out an authorization form that captures your basic project details.  After that, you’ll provide the details for your item in your project.  Keep in mind that the more specific you are with your details, the more accurate your quote offers will be.  

 

 

Step 2: Review Quote Offers From Suppliers

Once you submit your quote requests, licensed vendors will respond with quote offers.  You can wait for a few to come in before comparing the offers.  Or you can just go with the first offer.  All up to you and your timeframe!   Either way, you get decide the best supplier for the project. 

 

 

Step 3: Accept Quote Offers and Submit For Licensing Review (If Applicable)

Most AgoraCX university marketplaces require that a Licensing Manager review your request and provide confirmation before you place your order.  Once you accept your quote offer, the system will automatically notify the Licensing Manager about your pending quote review.  Please allow 1-3 business days for a response.

If your university does not require the quote review step, then after you accept a supplier’s offer, you can go ahead and place your order.

*Please note that the quote review and confirmation process with your Licensing Manager through AgoraCX does not replace other licensing approval protocols that may be required by your university licensing office.

 

Step 4: Finalize Your Order

You’ll receive an email notification when your Licensing Manager confirms your quote offer.

To proceed with your order, log back into your account, go to “My Projects,” and click “Quote Confirmed Pending Your Review” in the “Status / Action” column. You can either view your quote details once more by clicking “View Quote Details” and then place your order.  Or, you may click “Order Now.”

Clicking “Order Now” will take you to your shopping cart.  Depending on how your AgoraCX Marketplace is set up, you’ll have one of two options to proceed:

  1. You can enter your payment information, whether credit card or purchase order details, to finalize the order.
  2. You’ll click “Place Order” and finalize the order directly with the supplier. 

In both cases, you’ll receive an order confirmation email.  Your supplier will also contact you to begin the order fulfillment process.
