Manage Admins

The Manage Admins module is where Admins with Platform Super Admin access can view and edit all Administrators in the Platform.

The Manage Admins table displays a list of all Admins in the Platform, including Admins with access to only the Site level of the Admin Console. To add a new Admin to the Platform, click the Add an Admin button in the top right-hand side of the page or navigate to Invite or Create a New Admin in the Admin Console sidebar. Click here for more on the Invite or Create a New Admin module.

Enter an Admin’s name, email address, or unique User ID in the search bar at the top of the table to find a specific Admin. Sort the Admins in the table by clicking the arrow next to the column headers.

If there are more than 20 Admin accounts in the Platform, the table will be paginated, and page navigation options will appear at the bottom of the page. Click the Results Per Page dropdown to display more Admins per page.

The Access Level column will list the access level preset assigned to each Admin. It is possible that further granular customization of an Admin’s access rights may render the access level listed in this column inaccurate in some cases, but an Admin will never have access rights greater than the level listed in this column.

Click the trash can icon in the Action column to delete an Admin. A confirmation popup will appear. Deleting an Admin cannot be undone.

Click the pencil icon in the Action column to edit an Admin account. The Edit Admin page will appear.

Edit Admin

The User ID number in the page title is unique and generated by Agora. Edit the Admin’s first name, last name, email address, and phone number in the first block. The Admin’s phone number is not required.

There are two options to reset an Admin’s password in the Reset Password block:

  1. Enter a new password in the provided field. Click the eye icon to show or hide the entered password. Once the password is strong and meets the listed criteria, click the Reset button. The Admin’s password will be reset.
  2. Click the Send Password Reset Email button. This will send an email to the Admin’s email address (entered above) with a link to reset their password themselves.

Quickly edit the Admin’s access rights to certain controls with the Access Level Preset block. The selected preset can be further customized in the expandable Customize sections below.

There are three Access Level Presets:

  1. By default, the Platform Super Admin preset gives the Admin access to all Platform controls and modules (including Manage Admins and Invite or Create a New Admin) and all Site controls and modules in all Sites in the Platform.
  2. By default, the Platform Basic Admin preset gives the Admin access to all Platform controls and modules (except for Manage Admins and Invite or Create a New Admin) and all Site controls and modules in all Sites in the Platform.
  3. By default, Site Admins have access to all Site controls and modules in one or more Sites, but no access to Platform controls.

Depending on the preset selected, the content of the expandable Customize sections will change.
