Connected Marketplaces

The Connected Marketplaces module is where you can see and access the Buyer-controlled Marketplaces that you’ve been invited to participate in. It’s where you will enter the Site level of the Admin Console when you need to respond to activity in a certain Marketplace.

All Marketplaces connected to your Platform will appear on this page unless your Admin rights limit your access to some Marketplaces. Use the button next to the page title to toggle between a tile view of the page, where each Marketplace appears as a card, and the list view of the page, where all Marketplaces appear as rows in a table.

If you can create and manage Stores with your Platform, you can click the My Stores tab in the top right-hand side of the page or click My Stores in the sidebar to see the Stores managed by your Platform.

In tile view, click the card or Marketplace name to administrate the Marketplace at the Site level of the Admin Console. In list view, click the Enter button in the Action column.

If you have a number of Marketplaces connected to your Platform, enter a Marketplace name or ID in the search bar at the top of the page to find a specific Marketplace, or pin Marketplaces to the top of the list so that they’ll always be quickly accessible when you log in to the Admin Console. Pin Marketplaces by clicking the pin icon that appears in the top right corner of the Marketplace card in tile view, or in the Action column in list view.

If you or the Marketplace has changed your status in a Marketplace to Inactive, meaning that you do not appear in the Supplier Directory on the Marketplace and Site Users on the Marketplace are not able to submit Quote Requests to you, a Deactivated indication will appear over the Marketplace card in tile view, or near the Action column in list view.

If you changed the your status to Inactive, you will be able to activate your connection to the Marketplace again on the Supplier Profile page. Click here for more on the Supplier Profile page.

If the Buyer organization changed your status to Inactive, you will not be able to activate your connection to the Marketplace yourself. The Buyer organization will need to activate you in their Marketplace.

In list view, sort the Marketplaces in the table by clicking the arrow next to the column headers.

In list view, click the trash can icon in the Action column to disconnect a Marketplace from your Platform. A confirmation popup will appear. Removing a Marketplace cannot be undone. To continue participating in the Marketplace, the Marketplace will need to re-invite you.
